I’m a philosophy teacher and researcher at the Farroupilha Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology, in Uruguaiana, RS, Brazil. I hold a doctoral degree in Philosophy from the Federal University of Santa Maria with a research visit to the Florida State University (Capes-Fulbright Grant).

Livro: Por que pensar assim? Uma introdução à filosofia. Autor: Marcelo Fischborn

This is an introduction to philosophy aimed at high school students and their teachers. It contains short chapters, suitable for reading at home or in the classroom. The book covers key topics in epistemology, philosophy of science, ethics, and political philosophy. Along the way, it introduces conceptual, argumentative, and methodological tools that stimulate the reader’s own philosophical thinking.
